It reflects not only the way I see beauty,

but the materials I’m instinctively drawn to and the rhythm that shapes my life. I’ve always been interested in the way jewellery lives on the body and how the pieces we choose become extensions of who we are. Much of my work begins with the material itself. I’m drawn to stones, shells, and beads marked by character and irregularity — elements that feel found rather than made. The design evolves from there, seeking a balance between rawness and refinement, softness and strength.
Jewelry has always felt natural to me

Jewelry has always felt natural to me

as part of everyday life, not something reserved for special occasions. Pieces are meant to be worn often, layered instinctively, and collected slowly over time. Moving through different places and cultures has shaped this instinct — an ease with accumulation, a sensitivity to when to hold back. Both continue to inform the way I design.
It is within this tension — between the raw and the refined — that each piece finds its identity. That balance defines a LAOLI piece.
